Molly is a Cincinnati native, born and raised in Pleasant Ridge, and a 2003 Xavier graduate. During her years as a student at Xavier, Molly studied Social Work and Peace Studies. Post graduation, she spent the next year as a Jesuit Volunteer in Sitka, Alaska, working on outdoor education and service learning programs with Sitka’s youth. Molly then returned to Cincinnati and worked as a rural case manager for STOP AIDS (formerly AVOC). In the winter of 2006, Molly headed south to study sustainable agriculture and Spanish in rural Costa Rica before returning to the States to attend graduate school. Molly began her Masters in Social Work at the University of Michigan in the fall of 2006, with a focus on community organizing and social systems. After completing her MSW, she spent several months working in Cochabamba, Bolivia through the Foundation for Sustainable Development. Molly joined Xavier’s staff in August of 2008. In her spare time, she enjoys many outdoor sports, growing food, and time with friends and family.
