Biography:

Shari Mickey-Boggs, Associate Vice President for Human Resources & Chief Human Resource Officer,  Xavier University

Shari Mickey-Boggs joined Xavier as Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer in November 2007 and is responsible for the strategic and operational planning for all human resource functions including talent management, compensation, employee relations, benefits, and organizational development. Shari has 20 years of human resources experience in both private and public sectors. Various industry experiences include retail, health care, government and academia. For the past 15 years, she has been in the higher education arena having served in several leadership positions with The Ohio State University prior to joining Xavier University. Ms. Mickey-Boggs is former Treasurer and board member of the College and University Work Family Association as well as former chair of the National Outreach Committee. She is a member of the Colleges & University Professional Association for Human Resources and the Society for Human Resource Management. Shari has spoken regionally and nationally on human resources topics with the College and Universities Professional Association for Human Resources, College and University Work Family Association, the American College of Veterinary Pathologists, Ohio American Council on Education, the Alliance for Work Life Progress, and the Association of Jesuit Colleges & Universities, and Gallup.
She is part of a dual-career family and has two children, Isabelle, 10, and Wiatt, 7.
