Biography:

Ms. Leahy is an active member of the University, participating in faculty functions such as Manresa, the Ignatian Mentoring program and AFMIX. Her nursing expertise is mental health, with emphasis in community and public health policy.

Ms. Leahy is president of Omicron Omicron Chapter At Large of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society (STTI) and serves as chair of the Southern Ohio Northern Kentucky (SONK) consortium with a membership of five STTI chapters. Professor Leahy is committed to community service by volunteering as president of the Board for Kids Helping Kids an adolescent addiction treatment program; National board member for the Pathway Family Center addiction treatment programs; Chair of the Coordinated School Health Committee of Hamilton County; and member of the Health Coordination Steering Committee and the Health Education/Prevention/Wellness subcommittee for Growing Well Cincinnati, a consortium dedicated to providing health services for Cincinnati Public School students.
