Biography:
Dr. Linda Moore holds a doctorial degree in nursing and is a clinical nurse specialist (CNS) in gerontological nursing. She currently holds a certificate of authority to practice in the state of Ohio as a CNS. Dr. Moore has conducted a variety of research studies on topics related to geriatrics and caregivers. She particularly has conducted research funded by Sigma Theta Tau International exploring the phenomenon of visual impairment in the elderly. Her areas of research expertise include qualitative approached with a special interest in phenomenology.
She has presented research findings at local, national, and international conferences. Her publications have centered in the area of nursing care for the older adult. Dr. Moore has clinical expertise in the areas of adult health, gerontological care, and perioperative care.
