Biography:

Ms. Walsh is an active member of the University, participating in faculty functions such as Manresa, "University as a Citizen", Common Hours, and athletic events. She provides service to the university by sitting on the following committees: BSN, Professional Behavior, Service Task Force, School Nurse Advisory Board, and chairs Nursing Continuing Education committee . Professor Walsh is committed to Service Learning and recently received a grant sponsored by the Center for Healthy Communities to assist Drake Center in providing a community health fair. She also is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society/Omicron Omicron and has held an office or has been a committee member since 1995. Professor Walsh is committed to community service by volunteering as a CPR instructor with American Heart Association, serving meals on a monthly basis at Tender Mercies, sitting on the advisory board with Volunteers of America "Church Partnership Program" and coordinating home church acitivities.
