Description:

Join us for a screening and discussion of a film that will be shown on PBS later this year. The film is based upon the most comprehensive survey ever done of attitudes of Muslims. It was conducted by the Gallup Organization and spanned over 35 countries and took some 7 years to produce. The topics covered by the survey are all of those questions that we wonder about, from attitudes towards terrorism, the status of women, what Muslims think about the USA, and many more. It is one of the most important and provocative studies on the topic every conducted. The film captures the essence of the survey touching upon many of the key issues. It was produced by Unity Productions Foundation to be a catalyst for discussion and dialogue. Come and be part of that conversation.

Executive producer and Director Michael Wolfe will introduce the film, and following the showing, will engage the audience in a discussion.

John Esposito, the speaker who will be at Xavier on Nov. 18, plays an integral part in the film.

Free and open to the public.
