The Loyola Medal for Commitment to Ministry

The Office of Campus Ministry
is now accepting nominations
for the Loyola Medal for Commitment to Ministry.

This prestigious medal honors the Jesuit ideal of commitment to ministry as witnessed through a student’s spiritual development, service and faith in action.  The Loyola Medal is presented annually to a senior who has best exhibited this ideal during their undergraduate years at Xavier.   Seniors may be nominated by faculty, staff, or undergraduate students.

CRITERIA FOR EVALUATION
Seniors are nominated for the Loyola Medal based on their contribution to Campus Ministry programs during their entire undergraduate years at Xavier.

ELIGIBILITY PERIOD
Seniors who are nominated for the Loyola Medal for their contributions during their entire undergraduate career at Xavier. 

NOMINATION PROCESS
A senior may be placed in nomination by a faculty or staff member, or a current Xavier University undergraduate student.  After being nominated, the candidate submits a completed Nominee Form by the deadline date to the office of Campus Ministry.  The recipient of the Loyola Medal is determined by a committee of Campus Ministry staff members.

Nominations are due by November 21, 2008 at 12:00 noon in the Office of Campus Ministry
