The "REEL CLE"
All attorneys holding an active license in Ohio are
required to participate in 24
hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) every
two years. Within the 24 hours of CLE, each attorney
must complete training regarding ethics
(one hour), professionalism (one hour), and substance
abuse (one-half hour). The Cintas Institute for
Business Ethics at Xavier has been approved by the Ohio
Commission on Continuing Legal Education to provide
a 2.5 hour workshop satisfying the ethics, professionalism
and substance abuse requirements. The morning training
sessions will be both live, and lively, using video
clips from classic, and sometimes not so classic, law
related movies to spark discussion surrounding ethics,
professionalism and substance abuse.
