FGIBAVL Budget Availability Form

Allows you to query the status of accounts, shows current information on adjusted budget, year to date activity, commitments and available balance for a selected fund, organization, account and program combination

This form shows the current operating expenditure budget less year-to-date activity and commitments to arrive at the balance. Use this form for funds and orgs with structured budgets in the system( Adjusted Budget column contains data). This form will give the most accurate balance available for pooled and non-pooled accounts.

On the main menu form, GUAGMNU, either type FGIBAVL in the direct access "Go To" field; or click on FGIBAVL from your personal "My Banner" or through the main menus:

The CHART and FISCAL YEAR fields will default to their current options. Tab to the FUND or ORGN (Org) field (depends on your selection). If you choose the ORGN field, the fund and program codes will default (fill in automatically.) If you choose the FUND field, the org and program codes will default.

The account is required on this form. Tab to ACCOUNT and type in 601000 to see all accounts, or 701000 to see just operating pools.

Select the NEXT BLOCK function.

The information will be populated in the information block of fields below the header block under the following headers.

To navigate the information block, check the scroll bars below the block and to the right of the block to see if there is more information and accounts.

To view another fund or org, click on the ROLLBACK function. Highlight and delete the existing FOAP. Start with the program block first, or you will not be able to delete all fields. FGIBAVL will require you to input the fund before allowing you to input the org. Input the 601000 in account and the program will default from the fund/org.
