Xavier’s reputation for excellence in and out of the classroom ranks among our greatest assets, which makes protecting and enhancing this asset among our most important tasks. That in turn brings critical importance to the way in which we communicate. We must do so in a manner that is consistent and compelling.
Therefore, it is my pleasure to share with you Xavier's newly created platform for marketing and communications. More than just a document, this is a guide for how we express ourselves to our constituencies—current and prospective students, alumni, parents, neighbors, businesses and friends, plus, of course, faculty and staff.
I fully support the direction and guidelines contained in this document and expect them to be reflected in all official Xavier communications. It is the responsibility of each division, department and office to comply with these guidelines and with all of the University’s graphic and editorial standards.
