Organizers for Xavier's 2nd Annual World Quest Competition
On February 19, 2010, Xavier held it’s 2nd annual World Quest Competition. World Quest is an international affairs and current event trivia game. Competitors are tested on their knowledge of current affairs, world leaders, geography, recent history, flags, international organizations, countries, regions, the world economy, culture, religion, and more. Teams compete by answering rounds of questions projected by Power Point onto a screen with this year’s competition offering 5 rounds of 10 questions each. The team with the highest number of correct answers is the winner. This year’s World Quest was held at Xavier on Feb. 19th. An included a total of 260 participants. Biology Department instructor Neema Nourian was one of the organizers, whose duties included helping create the 50 challenging questions for this year’s competition. Congratulations to the Biology Department team which finished 1st out of 31 university wide teams.
