Transfer Policy

Transfer students should contact the Director of the Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) early in their application process to the University.

The ATEP at Xavier University is a four-year program.  All required athletic training courses, competencies, and proficiencies must be completed in the Xavier University Athletic Training Education Program.  

It is not possible to complete the athletic training major in less than 8 semesters.  Transfer students wishing to enter the program must submit all application materials and meet the programs application requirements.  The most current admission information is available from the Director of the Athletic Training Education Program.  Please contact Dr. Tina Davlin-Pater (513-745-3430) for more information.
