Academic Honors Convocation
The Academic Honors Convocation will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in the James and Caroline Duff Banquet Center of the Cintas Center. This event recognizes those students who have excelled in the classroom and have qualified for a special award of honor.
The Academic Honors Convocation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the honored students processing into the Banquet Center. Honorees should report to the East Concourse of the Cintas Center by 8:00 a.m. to register, assemble and receive final instructions for the ceremony. Please use the entrance located on the east side of the Cintas Center near the C2 parking lot. Enter the building through this door and go down one floor. The East Concourse will be to your left at the bottom of the stairs.
Be aware that if you do not check-in on the East Concourse prior to the Academic Honors Convocation, during the ceremony your name will be read as "unable to attend".
All guests are invited to attend a reception on the East Concourse of the Cintas Center immediately following the ceremony.
If you are unable to attend the convocation, please pick up your award on Tuesday, April 8 in your college as follows:
- College of Arts & Sciences, Ms. Mary Behan, McDonald Library Room 122
- College of Social Sciences, Health, and Education, Ms. Nancy Hart, Hailstones 2nd Floor
- Williams College of Business, Ms. Nancy Mazza, Smith Hall Undergraduate Office
