Scott Chadwick assumed his duties as Provost and Chief Academic Officer on July 1, 2011. Prior to coming to the University, he served as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Mission and Identity Officer for Canisius College, a Jesuit Catholic university in Buffalo, New York. He held the rank of Professor of Communication Studies at Canisius. Dr. Chadwick served at Creighton University as Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs (2005 – 2007) and Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs (2003 – 2005). He taught as an assistant professor at Iowa State University (1997 – 2003) and Oregon State University (1994 – 1997). Prior to earning his Ph.D. in 1994, Dr. Chadwick work for Sprint, Firestone (now Bridgestone), and Arthur Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
