Dr. Shelly Webb has been a faculty member in Xavier University’s Department of Finance since 1992. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky. Her research interests include managerial finance, international finance, and business case writing. She has published in such journals as the Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, and Financial Practice and Education (Journal of Applied Finance). During her tenure at Xavier she has served as the Director of the European Summer Study Program in Maastricht, the Netherlands and the XMBA International Study Tour to Asia. Dr. Webb has served as a visiting researcher at Wirtschaftsuniversitat Wein in Vienna, Austria. She teaches both MBA and undergraduate courses in corporate finance, international finance, and international business. Professor Webb has received the WCB Delta Sigma Pi Teacher of the Year Award and the WCB Dean’s Award in Scholarship.
