Dr. Julie Cagle is in her thirteenth year of service at Xavier. She received her Bachelors and MBA degree from Illinois State University and her Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. She teaches basic and advanced corporate finance at the undergraduate and MBA levels. She has also taught risk management and insurance and financial institutions and has experience in a family independent insurance agency. Her research interests include regulated institutions, mergers and restructuring strategies, ethics in finance, and corporate risk management.
