Departmental Service Award

Kim White and Amy Perez

Kim White and Amy Perez are co-recipients of the 2007 Departmental Service Award. This is an annual award in the Department of Occupational Therapy that is conferred upon individual(s) who have demonstrated outstanding service to Xavier University’s Department of Occupational Therapy. Kim and Amy are both occupational therapists who work at Summit Behavioral Health Care. For the past two years both of them have provided our students with Crisis Intervention Training for the MOCT 505 Tools and Techniques course. Additionally, both of them have supervised level I fieldwork students. Additionally, Kim, has lectured on psychosocial dysfunction, volunteered her daughter as a testing subject for our students to practice the Peabody assessment, and served concessions at the Cintas Center. We appreciate all their assistance and support. Thank you, Kim and Amy!
