Affiliated Faculty of the Year Award

Barb Elleman is the 2007 recipient of the Affiliated Faculty of the Year Award. This is an annual award in the Department of Occupational Therapy and conferred upon an individual who has demonstrated outstanding contributions to Xavier University’s Department of Occupational Therapy. Barb is an occupational therapist who works at Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Repeatedly, over the years, Barb has served as a guest lecturer for our curriculum content in neurodevelopment training (NDT) including both lecture and lab courses which involved an extensive amount of time each year. As well, she has also supervised numerous level I fieldwork students giving much of her time, energy, and expertise in doing so. It is a pleasure to have Barb as part of our occupational therapy team. We are grateful for her support of our students and our program. Congratulations, Barb!
