The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) is the nationally recognized professional association of approximately 40,000 occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and students of occupational therapy. The AOTA website provides their mission, vision, strategic plan, contact information, board of directors, operational principles, code of ethics, standards of practice, initiatives, and alliances as well as information about the profession and online purchasing of books and products. Pages for OT students include information about education, scholarships, fieldwork, and certification as well as OT JobLink.org. Xavier University students are also given access to the OT Search database.

The American Occupational Therapy Foundation, a charitable, non-profit organization, was created in 1965 to advance the science of occupational therapy and increase public understanding of its value. Guatemala 2015

The Guatemala website was launched to describe the international academic service learning initiative that will be offered for the eighth time during Summer 2015. Students, faculty, and local practitioners will be going to Guatemala for one week to provide therapy service to children who reside in Guatemalan orphanages. The website includes information for students and practitioners alike.
