St. Xavier College Catalogue (1840-1930; all full-text) is a collection of catalogues, also known as the Calendar, dating from November 1840, when St. Xavier College first opened, to 1930, when the College was renamed Xavier University. It includes the invitation to commencement, catalogue cover, plan of instruction, regulations, terms (fees) for boarders and day scholars, special directions for parents and children, Board of Trustees, faculty, tutors, elected officers of the Philopedean Society, names and addresses of students, order of the exercises, and distribution of premiums (awards). Saskia Art History Images (XLinks) is part of OhioLINK's Digital Media Center: Art and Architecture Digital Media. It contains 1,009 digital images of paintings and sculptures located in museums worldwide. It also contains digital images of photographs of architectural structures located throughout the world. Each entry includes the title, creator, creation date, object type, measurements, materials, style/period, owner, accession number, contributor and a stable link to the item. This collection emphasizes the core images required for teaching the history of Western art and is based on Gardner's Art Through the Ages, Stokstad's History of Art and Hartt's History of Italian Renaissance Art. SciFinder Scholar (Chemistry Department only) allows users to search Chemical Abstracts by author, keyword, (sub)structure, sequence, and more. It permits users to browse scientific journals and stay current with the scientific literature. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by Chemical Abstracts Service. Students should contact their chemistry instructor for access information.

SCImago is a journal ranking system based on Elsevier's Scopus® database. Users can browse journal indicators by subject area and subcategory. Journal searches can be limited to country and/or year (from 1999-2006). Users can also search for a particular journal by title or words in the title. Individual journal searches provide tabular data and numerous graphs. Comparative searches are possible for 2-4 journals and provide a graph and tabular data from 1999-2006. Scopus (much full-text; 1823-present; RefWorks help) contains 18,500 titles with 70% from international sources. It includes 17,000 peer-reviewed journals, over 3 million conference papers, 600 trade publications, 24 million patents, and 359 book series. It covers the arts & humanities as well as the social, health, physical, and life sciences. Users can search by keyword, author, article title, journal, and other parameters. Citations include cited references and times cited information as well as journal ranking information. This database contains about 2,400 embedded full-text journals in addition to the full-text provided via OhioLINK. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by Elsevier. XU faculty, staff, and students need to authenticate via OhioLINK both on and off campus using their MyXU portal username and password.

Scripps Papers (1868-1926; XLinks) is a part of OhioLINK's Digital Resource Commons and contains a growing collection of letters and photos from the Scripps Manuscript Collection at Ohio University. Edward Willis Scripps (1854-1926) was a businessman and journalist associated with the founding of the Scripps Howard chain of newspapers and the United Press International independent news gathering company. Something About the Author (all full-text; XLinks) provides page images of the print Something About the Author series and Something About the Author Autobiography series. It examines the lives and works of authors and illustrators of children and young adult literature. It contains more than 12,000 entries that include autobiographies, biographies, and obituaries. SWON Greater Cincinnati Memory Project is a collection of nearly 6,000 pre-1940 photographs, postcards and slides of landmarks and events in the greater Cincinnati area. Seven participating libraries and museums (providing collections and local funds) and five co-sponsors (providing local funds) were involved in the development of an online database of these local history materials. Funding was also provided via a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant. The Project has been expanded to include images of Cincinnati people.
